Members of the theatre community will gather Jan. 2, 2014, to remember Broadway and The Book of Mormon national tour stage manager Neveen Mahmoud.

Mahmoud, who was born June 10, 1976, died unexpectedly Dec. 21 at the age of 37. In addition to her work on the second national tour of The Book of Mormon, Mahmoud served as assistant stage manager for the Broadway productions of Lysistrata Jones, The Color Purple, Gem of the Ocean, Mamma Mia! and the Tony Award-winning revival of La Cage aux Folles.

Friends and contemporaries, including actors Jason Biggs, Brandon Victor Dixon and Josh Segarra, as well as stage managers Glynn Turner and Peter Lawrence, will gather for an 11 AM memorial at the Snapple Theater to celebrate Mahmoud's life.
