A host of theatre favorites are part of Broadway Salutes Community Theater, a fundraiser for Brooklyn Players Community Musical Theater, which is presented Jan. 26 at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

The 7 PM concert features the talents of Tony Award winner Beth Leavel, Rachel Bay Jones, Andrew Samonsky, Betsy Morgan, Nicole Lewis, Briana Carlson-Goodman, Liz Byrne and Max Quinlan.

The artists will sing songs that harken back to their days in community/youth theatre. A preview from BPCMT's upcoming spring production of Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Broadway's Valerie Wright, will also be performed.

Longtime Brooklyn children’s theatre producer and director Corinne Goodman started BPCMT in fall 2010. Goodman founded BPCMT "to create a home for diverse casts of older teens and adults who love theater and love performing in musical theater productions."

The Laurie Beechman Theater is located at 407 West 42nd Street. Doors open at 6 PM for dinner and drinks. Tickets are $25 and are available by visiting https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pe.c/9879096. There is also a $15 food/drink minimum.
