The West End play Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense, currently running at the Duke of York's Theatre through Sept. 20, is to immediately launch a U.K. tour after it closes there, beginning performances at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Sept. 24 prior to an official opening Sept. 29, for a run through Oct. 4.
It will then continue to visit Cambridge, Newcastle, Norwich, Reading, Salford, Cheltenham, Southampton, Glasgow and Bath, running through Dec. 6.
Produced by Mark Goucher and Mark Rubinstein and directed by Sean Foley, it is written by brothers Robert and David Goodale, based on and adapted from the established literary works of P.G. Wodehouse.
Currently starring Stephen Mangan and Matthew Macfayden in the West End, they will be replaced by Mark Heap and Robert Webb as Jeeves and Wooster, respectively, from April 7. Touring casting has not yet been announced.
You're invited to spend an evening filled with personal tales of difficult choices, bad breaks, worse men and some of the most glorious songs ever written. It's an intimate evening, up close with a legend.
So pull up a chair and order up a drink. Because she's got a life to sing. Tickets as low as $85!
