"Saturday Night Live" alum Rachel Dratch, who was seen in the The Public Theater's world-premiere musical Love's Labour's Lost, will join Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski (Nine) in Fox's half-hour pilot "Dead Boss," according to Deadline.com.
The project — from Warner Bros TV and Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment — is an adaptation of the BBC3 series created by Sharon Horgan and Holly Walsh and follows Helen Stephens (Krakowski), an overachiever who is wrongfully convicted of murdering her boss.
Dratch will play Christine, Helen's cellmate, who is described as "a sunny but emotionally needy arsonist."
Patricia Breen, who is an executive producer alongside Horgan and Kaplan, penned the pilot.
Krakowski, who was Tony-nominated for her performance in Grand Hotel, has also been seen on Broadway in Face Value, Starlight Express, Company, Tartuffe and Once Upon a Mattress.
