Heather Headley, a Tony Award winner for her performance in Aida, announced March 26 that she is expecting a second child with husband Brian Musso.
"There may not be a better day than HUMP Day to discuss a BUMP!!" Headley wrote on her official Facebook page. "My sweet husband and I are excited, blessed, overwhelmed, nervous, a little scared, and soon to be more out-(wo)manned than we currently are… The Commander has summoned a Lieutenant… And in a few, hopefully very short and not too hot months, our little family will welcome our new little one.
"Ahhhhh! :() When I said I was going to start a new project, I wasn't thinking this, but God obviously had 'additional' plans for us;). 'Praying for a safe, healthy...less nauseous rest of the pregnancy...and so incredibly blessed and awed by the miracle given to us. Happy #BUMP Day!"
Headley — who has also been seen on Broadway in The Lion King and Il Divo — A Musical Affair: The Greatest Songs on Broadway — and Musso welcomed their first child, John David, in 2009.
