Cumming made his Broadway debut as the Master of Ceremonies in the 1998 Broadway Revival of Cabaret, a performance that earned him the Tony Award for Best Actor. He has also been seen in the Broadway productions ofThe Threepenny Opera and Design for Living. He is currently reprising his Tony Award-winning performance in the 2014 revival of Cabaret playing at Studo 54.
