Mike Eldred, Chuck Wagner, Rachel Potter, Matthew Scott Star in Nashville Les Misérables May 3-4

Studio Tenn presents a staging of the international hit musical Les Misérables May 3-4 in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center's Laura Turner Hall in Nashville.

Artistic director Matt Logan directs and designs the production with assistant direction and choreography by Emily Tello Speck and wigs and makeup from Sondra Nottingham.

Backed by a full symphony orchestra, the cast is led by Mike Eldred as Jean Valjean, Chuck Wagner as Javert, Laura Matula as Fantine, Rachel Potter as Eponine, Matthew Scott as Marius, Gregory Maheu as Enjolras, Jake Speck as Thénardier, Kim Bretton as Madame Thénardier and Sarah Caroline Billings as Cosette.

The company also features Gus O'Brien as Gavroche, Bella Higginbotham as Young Cosette and Elysa Matula as Young Eponine with Nan Gurley, Shelean Newman, Patrick Waller, Ross Bridgeman, Megan Murphy Chambers, Rod Fletcher, Brent Maddox, Mike Baum, Nathan McHenry, Jefferson Carson, Jordan Wright, Neal Buckley, Matthew Rosenbaum, Arik Vega, Annabelle Fox, Anna Carroll, Marnie Price, Lissa Deguzman, Claire Kapustka and Suzanna Champion.



Musical director and conductor is Stephen Kummer. The performances also feature a 20-member ensemble and a 146-voice choir.

"This will be one of the most lavish productions you've ever seen from Studio Tenn," said company managing director Jake Speck in an earlier statement. "This is fully staged, choreographed, costumed, backed by a symphony orchestra, and set in the Schermerhorn's staggeringly beautiful Laura Turner Hall—world-famous for its unparalleled acoustics."

The Broadway revival of the Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schonberg and Herbert Kretzmer musical, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, plays the Imperial Theatre.
