Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell to Co-Star in "Mr. Right"

Stage and screen actors Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell have been tapped to star in the new feature-film comedy "Mr. Right," according to Deadline.com.



Paco Cabezas will direct the film, which has a script by Max Landis. Kendrick will portray a woman who, after a string of bad luck in relationships, finally finds Mr. Right. Rockwell will portray her love interest who reveals that he's a reformed hit man.

Shooting on the film will begin this fall.

Kendrick stars as Cinderella in the upcoming Disney film adaptation of Into the Woods. She also leads the film adaptation of the Jason Robert Brown musical The Last Five Years. Kendrick earned a Tony Award nomination for High Society and an Academy Award nomination for "Up in the Air."

Rockwell made his Broadway debut in the 2010 production of Martin McDonagh's A Behanding in Spokane. His films include "Frost/Nixon," "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," "Lawn Dogs," "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" and "Conviction," among others.
