LaGuardia will present Yarrow with the second-annual High School Hall of Fame Award at 7:30 PM. The evening will include performances by Broadway stars and LaGuardia students.
Other notables who will share performances include Anika Larsen (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and Broadway veteran Jessica Molaskey, director Don Roy King, artist Milton Glaser, Emmy-nominated acoustic duo Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, and dancer Dudley Williams.
Yarrow is perhaps best known as part of the group Peter, Paul and Mary and for their hit songs, "Puff the Magic Dragon" and "Blowin' in the Wind." Yarrow also received the prestigious Allard K. Lowenstein Award for advancing causes of human rights, peace and freedom as well as a Congressional Resolution honoring his humanitarian achievements in 2003.
