In the fifth year of Latino MixFest's commitment to engaging new work by Latino artists across the country, Atlantic will not only welcome Castillo as the second playwright to join the resident program this season, but will also engage Leguizamo, Rivera and Rodriguez for a series of workshops through the summer, including developing a new musical by Leguizamo and Stephen Chbosky.
Jaime Castañeda is the curator of the festival and is also Atlantic's artistic associate. Latino MixFest is made possible by the Time Warner Foundation.
