Music Circus' A Chorus Line Casts Its Cassie, Sheila, Paul, Zach and More

Casting has been announced for the Music Circus production of the Tony-winning musical A Chorus Line, which will kick off the 64th season at the Sacramento venue June 24-29.

Directed by Stafford Arima, the limited engagement at the Wells Fargo Pavilion will feature choreography by Randy Slovacek and music direction by Valerie Gebert.

The cast will be led by Kate Levering as Cassie, Jenifer Foote as Sheila, Courtney Iventosch as Lois, Katie Boren as Connie, Xavier Cano as Paul, Stephen Carrasco as Bobby, Roger Ellis as Richie, Adam Fleming as Al, Julia Freyer as Judy, Juliane Godfrey as Bebe, Katie Huff as Kristine, Drew Humphrey as Don, Cory Lingner as Mark, Allison Blair McDowell as Val, Kathryn Mowat Murphy as Laura, Eric Sciotto as Zach, Chelsea Morgan Stock as Maggie, Nick Varricchio as Mike, Selina Michelle Varastigui as Diana, Leigh Wakeford as Greg, Kim Arnett as Tricia, Jake DuPree as Butch, Jordan Grubb as Frank, Matthew J. Kilgore as Tom, Lisa Rohinsky as Vicki and John B. Williford as Roy.

A Chorus Line, which was conceived and directed by Michael Bennett, features music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Kleban and a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante. "This emotional behind-the-scenes look at the Broadway world is a celebration of what it means to be a professional dancer, fervently pursuing the passion to perform onstage, experiencing the triumph of dreams achieved and the tragedy of dreams unrealized," according to press notes.
