Moss cast over 88 Broadway productions throughout his career and played an integral part in the launch of the Casting Society of America (CSA). He was a talent manager and fostered some of the most influential names in the industry today who began as interns in his office.
Bernard Telsey, in a statement on behalf of the CSA New York board, said, "[Moss] will be greatly missed by casting directors and actors alike who will all remember him as a kind and generous human being who believed that performance art could make a difference in the world."
Aside from Broadway, Moss also served as the casting director for "The Cosby Show" and was Adam Sandler's first manager. Moss was born in 1940.

Telsey also remarked of Moss, "his credits alone speak volumes of his contributions to the New York entertainment industry and CSA, but more importantly, they represent the stories of hundreds of stage actors who were given their first professional jobs or Broadway debuts."
