Two-time Tony nominee Laura Osnes, most recently on Broadway in the acclaimed revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, will release a new single later this summer.
Entitled "When You Smile," the single will be available beginning Aug. 10 on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
The song was written for Osnes by writing duo Daniel and Laura Curtis, whose last album, "Love on 42nd Street," featured Lea Salonga, Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo and topped the iTunes Vocal Chart and Amazon Broadway chart.
In a statement composer Daniel Curtis said, "From the moment we first heard Laura Osnes sing we were so keen to write a song for her. As with the majority of our music we like to write specifically for a voice and with Laura we were inspired to write something that could have come out of the 1950's musical era. It has been such privelege to work with her on this song."
Osnes earned Tony Award nominations for her work in Bonnie and Clyde and Cinderella.
You're invited to spend an evening filled with personal tales of difficult choices, bad breaks, worse men and some of the most glorious songs ever written. It's an intimate evening, up close with a legend.
So pull up a chair and order up a drink. Because she's got a life to sing. Tickets as low as $85!
