Netflix will feature the 1957 film "12 Angry Men," the screen adaptation of Reginald Rose's play about a jury deliberating on a verdict. The film stars Henry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb and Jack Klugman and is available July 1.
The movie musical "Funny Face," starring Academy Award nominee Fred Astaire, Tony and Academy Award winner Audrey Hepburn and Kay Thompson, is also available for streaming July 1. The movie centers around a romance between fashion photographer Dick Avery (Astaire) and the shy bookshop clerk Jo Stockton (Hepburn), whom he recruits as a model. Thompson played fashion magazine editor Maggie Prescott.
Amazon will stream the Academy Award-winning movie musical "State Fair" beginning July 1. The film features original music by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein and stars Jeanne Crain, Dana Andrews, Dick Haymes, Vivian Blaine, Fay Bainter and Charles Winninger.
The 2005 film "Kinky Boots," which inspired the 2013 Tony Award-winning musical of the same name, will also be available for streaming beginning July 5. The movie is based on the true story of a struggling British shoe factory's young owner, Charlie, who forms an unlikely partnership with Lola, a drag queen, to save his business.
