Alan Cumming, 1998 Tony Award winner and "Annie" co-star, will be in New York hosting NBC's "Saturday Night Live" Feb. 5.

Alan Cumming, 1998 Tony Award winner and "Annie" co-star, will be in New York hosting NBC's "Saturday Night Live" Feb. 5.

Cumming, best known for creating the Emcee in the Sam Mendes revival of Cabaret, announced that he would return to the New York stage in Playboy of the Western World in 2000. While that revival has not yet materialized, Cumming took a musical theatre role, playing Rooster in the Disney television production of "Annie." Recent film work includes Julie Taymor's "Titus," "Plunkett and MacLeane" and "Eyes Wide Shut."

Cumming's musical guest will be Jennifer Lopez.

"Saturday Night Live" broadcasts from 11:30 PM-1 AM EST on NBC. Check local listings for times.

Stand by tickets to "Saturday Night Live" dress rehearsals and the live show are available at 9 AM Saturday morning. Stand by tickets do not guarantee admission. For information, call (212) 664-3056 / 3057.
