Idina Menzel, the high-intensity star of Rent and The Wild Party (and the upcoming Summer of '42), will, on February 12, 19 and 26, sing selections from her CD, "Still I Can't Be Still."
Idina Menzel, the high-intensity star of Rent and The Wild Party (and the upcoming Summer of '42), will, on February 12, 19 and 26, sing selections from her CD, "Still I Can't Be Still." Menzel played the temperamental performance artist, Maureen, in the original production of Rent. Her next New York stage role was in the Andrew Lippa Manhattan Theatre Club musical, The Wild Party. She won a Tony Award nomination for the former, and a Drama Desk nomination for the latter. Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street (between East 4th Street and Astor Place).
