She was Mimi, now paint her Magenta. Daphne Rubin-Vega recorded The Rocky Horror Show revival original cast album March 12. O'Brien's musical, known for its cult film version, stars comedienne-actress-singer Lea DeLaria as Eddie/Dr. Scott, rocker Joan Jett as Columbia (who will not be featured on the CD), author-actor-talk show host Dick Cavett as the narrator, Hewitt as Frank 'n' Furter, Rubin-Vega as Magenta, Alice Ripley as Janet, Jarrod Emick as Brad and Raul Esparza as Riff Raff. The Rocky Horror Show opened Nov. 15, 2000 at Circle in the Square.
