Concert w/ Moreno, Henner and Harris Benefits San Fran AIDS Charities July 30-31

Musical theatre stars Rita Moreno ("West Side Story," The Ritz), Lucie Arnaz (They're Playing Our Song, The Witches of Eastwick), Marilu Henner (Chicago), Sam Harris (The Life), Charlotte Rae (Little Abner, Sean McDermott (Miss Saigon), Colleen Fitzpatrick (Passion, Into the Woods), Hugh Panaro (The Phantom of the Opera), Carole Cook (42nd Street, Radio Gals0, Valarie Pettiford (Fosse) and Mary Jo Catlett (Hello, Dolly!, The Pajama Game) headline "Help Is on the Way VII: An All Broadway Concert" July 30-31 to benefit several San Francisco AIDS charities and services. The concert, featuring the music of Richard Adler, Jerry Bock and Cy Coleman, will be held at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre.

The concert, featuring the music of Richard Adler, Jerry Bock and Cy Coleman, will be held at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre.

Joining them are TV's Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker ("L.A. Law"), Bruce Vilanch (writer and "Hollywood Squares" star), Brock Peters ("To Kill a Mockingbird"), Olympic medalist-cum-actor Brian Boitano, jazz singer Paula West, cabaret star Meg Mackay and Kathy Garrick.

Between Adler, Bock and Coleman, the three men have created some 20 memorable musicals. Adler is remembered for Damn Yankees and The Pajama Game while Bock's best known are Fiddler on the Roof and She Loves Me. Coleman's last project on Broadway was the Tony-nominated The Life. Other credits include Sweet Charity, The Will Rogers Follies, Little Me, Barnum, City of Angels and On The 20th Century.

The charities and services benefitting from "Help Is on the Way VII" are ARIS of Santa Clara County, Center for AIDS Services, Oaklan, HIV Care at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, Posictive Resource Center, Project Inform and Tenderloin AIDS Resource Center.

Tickets to the gala benefit range from $5000-$50. Included in the evening will be a silent auction. For reservations, call (415) 931-2515. The Palace of Fine Arts is located at 3301 Lyon Street.
