Menzel, Van Patten and Jenkins Joins OB Monologues, March 5-April 14

Starting March 5, actress Idina Menzel will pay her rent with the proceeds of a six-week stint in the Off-Broadway hit The Vagina Monologues. The Rent and The Wild Party star will stay with the show until April 14, along with actress Joyce Van Patten and journalist and author Carol Jenkins.

Starting March 5, actress Idina Menzel will pay her rent with the proceeds of a six-week stint in the Off-Broadway hit The Vagina Monologues. The Rent and The Wild Party star will stay with the show until April 14, along with actress Joyce Van Patten and journalist and author Carol Jenkins.

Menzel's most recent credit was Broadway's Aida. Veteran Van Patten has been seen in such Broadway shows as Ring Round the Moon, Jake's Women and Brighton Beach Memoirs.

Lillias White, Barbara Barrie and Stefanie Powers left the play on March 3.
