Neil Patrick Harris, Rachel York and Ruta Lee will head the cast of Babes in Arms, which opens the seventh season of Los Angeles' acclaimed Reprise! series.

Featuring direction by Glenn Casale and choreography by Dan Mojica, the Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart classic will play UCLA's Freud Playhouse Sept. 9-21 with an official opening set for Wednesday, Sept. 10. Gerald Sternbach is musical director for the production, which features such classic tunes as “Where or When,” “Babes in Arms,” “I Wish I Were in Love Again,” “My Funny Valentine,” “Johnny One Note” and “The Lady Is a Tramp.”

Neil Patrick Harris was most recently on Broadway as the Emcee in the Tony-winning revival of Cabaret. A Drama Desk Award-winning actress, York's many stage credits include Kiss Me, Kate; City of Angels; Les Misérables; The Scarlet Pimpernel and Victor/Victoria. She also appeared as Reno Sweeney in the Reprise! staging of Anything Goes.

Ruta Lee began her career as a dancer on the George Burns and Gracie Allen TV show and went on to appear in such films as "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," "Funny Face," "Witness for the Prosecution" and "Sergeant's Three." On stage Lee has been seen in such musicals as Annie Get Your Gun, Bells Are Ringing, Peter Pan, Mame, Guys and Dolls, Pajama Game, On the Town, Show Boat and Woman of the Year.

The UCLA Freud Playhouse is located within Macgowan Hall. Tickets, priced at $55 and $65, are available by calling the UCLA central ticket office at (310) 825-2101. Go to www.reprise.org for more information.
