More than one hundred drawings by the late theatre caricaturist Al Hirschfeld will be sold at auction at Manhattan's Swann Galleries, Sept. 25.
Other items include etchings of Cabaret, with Liza Minelli and Joel Grey; Barbra Streisand in Funny Lady; and a crayon and charcoal drawing of Ethel Barrymore as a 101 year-old woman in White Oaks. The Al Hirschfeld sale may be previewed at Swann Galleries Sept. 20 from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sept. 22-Sept. 24, from 10 AM to 6 PM. The auction, on Sept. 25, will begin at 10:30 AM.
