Rent's Frenchie Davis Sings at Next "Broadway in Bryant Park," Aug. 14

Current Rent star Frenchie Davis will take part in the next "Broadway in Bryant Park" series Aug. 14.

Davis was seen on the reality television show "American Idol." The singer is making her Broadway debut as the soloist who belts "Seasons of Love" in Jonathan Larson's Rent.

The radio station 106.7 Lite FM presents "Broadway in Bryant Park" which plays every Thursday through Aug. 21 from 12:30 PM to 2 PM at the midtown green. The event features excerpts from some of the current and upcoming Broadway and Off Broadway musicals.

The current line-up (subject to change) is as follows:

  • Chicago, Rent, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Thing About Men, and Aida - Aug. 14
  • The Donkey Show, Listen to My Heart, Avenue Q, Urinetown and A Christmas Carol - Aug. 21
