It's a "Makeover Story" for Millie's Foster and Taboo's Cody

By Andrew Gans
24 Aug 2003

Two Broadway favorites — Sutton Foster and Jennifer Cody — will appear on The Learning Channel's "A Makeover Story."

On October 7 (12:30 PM ET, check local listings), Tony-winning Thoroughly Modern Millie star Foster and upcoming Taboo star Cody will be featured on the 30-minute program. The television show features makeovers of pairs of people — friends, spouses, co-workers — who make a change in their appearance to coincide with an event in their lives.

Sutton Foster, who currently stars in the title role of Thoroughly Modern Millie, received the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire awards her performance in the musical at the Marquis Theatre. Her other Broadway credits include roles in Les Misérables, Annie, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Grease!. Foster's regional and tour credits include What the World Needs Now, Dorian, Three Musketeers, South Pacific and The Will Rogers Follies.

Jennifer Cody will be part of the cast of this season's Taboo. Her other Broadway credits include Urinetown, Seussical, Grease! and Cats. Cody is married to Little Shop of Horrors star Hunter Foster.
