Goodspeed Musicals will revive its popular New York Express shuttle service this fall, allowing New York City theatregoers a transportation-and-ticket package for the Tony Award-honored Connecticut not-for-profit where Annie and Man of LaMancha began.
For $85 per person, a bus will pick up theatregoers in front of Sardi's in midtown Manhattan at 10 AM and shuttle them to the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, CT, for the 2 PM matinee of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Following the show, they are dropped off in Chester, CT, where they dine locally at their own expense before attending the 7:30 PM performance of O. Henry's Lovers. The bus returns them to Manhattan late at night.
Reservations must be made by Nov. 17. For information, call (860) 873-8668.
