A romantic comedy about a group of somewhat jaded New York "Yuppies," Eastern Standard kicks off the studio's 35th season with an official opening scheduled for Oct. 11. Directed by Glenn Krutoff, the cast includes Michelle Bagwell, Shane Jacobsen, Debbie Jaffe, Andrea Marshall Money, Jack Reiling, Jason Salmon, Conor T. McNamara and Diane Varisco. The creative team comprises Tal Goldin (sets), Eden Miller (costumes), Joe Saint (lights) and Joseph Furnari (sound).
Eastern Standard will play Thursday-Saturday evenings at 8 PM with Sunday matinees at 3 PM. A special Saturday matinee will be held at 3 PM on Oct. 25. The 35th season at T. Schreiber Studio also includes Alan Ayckbourn's Bedroom Farce (Nov. 13-Dec. 7), John Guare's Landscape of the Body (Jan. 29, 2004-Feb. 22), Douglas Carter Beane's As Bees in Honey Drown (March 25-April 18) and David Rabe's Hurlyburly (May 6-30).
