Gypsy's Bernadette Peters Chats on TV Sept. 27

Two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters, currently starring in the hit revival of GGypsy/I>, will chat about her newest stage role this weekend.



Peters will guest on NY1's "On Stage" theatre program, where she will be interviewed by co-host Paul Lombardi. "On Stage" is broadcast in the New York area Saturday and Sundays from 9:30-10 AM and again from 7:30-8 PM. The weekly television show also airs Mondays from 9:30-10 PM and later that night from 12:30-1 AM.

Bernadette Peters received a 2003 Tony Award nomination for her performance as Momma Rose in the Sam Mendes-directed revival of Gypsy. She won her two Tonys for her performances in Song & Dance and Annie Get Your Gun, and she has also starred on Broadway in Mack & Mabel, On the Town, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl and the original production of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods.
