Peil and Bryggman Head Cast of Reddin's Frame 312, Nov. 26-Jan. 11

Complete casting has been announced for Keith Reddin's Frame 312, which begins performances at the Atlantic Theater Company Nov. 26.

As previously announced, recent Nine star Mary Beth Peil will head the cast of the play, which concerns a secretary (Peil) who was asked to keep an important secret at the time President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. "More than 30 years later," the Atlantic website explains, "she decides it is time to come clean with her family about her relationships to history, and how hiding from her past has taken a personal toll. Not all stories have willing listeners, however, and Lynette is faced with wondering if some secret should simply be kept."

Joining Peil onstage will be Proof Tony nominee Larry Bryggman as well as Maggie Kiley, Ana Reeder, Mandy Siegfried and Greg Stuhr. Karen Kohlhaas directs the drama, which officially opens Dec. 11. The limited engagement runs through Jan. 11, 2004.

The creative team for Frame 312 comprises Walt Spangler (scenic design), Mimi O'Donnell (costume design), Robert Perry (lighting design) and Scott Myers (sound design).

An Obie Award-winning actress, Mary Beth Peil is a member of the Atlantic Theater Company and the Drama Dept. She received a Tony nomination for her performance in the 1985 production of The King and I, and she has appeared in plays by Paul Rudnick, A.R. Gurney, Craig Lucas and Edward Albee. Peil's screen credits include "The Odd Couple II," "Law & Order," "The Job" and currently "Dawson’s Creek."
