Actor Paul Rudd (The Shape of Things, "Friends") will star in a reading of Sam Shepard's True West at Boston's Wang Center for the Performing Arts, March 15.

Concluding the "American Voices: Drama, Dialogue, Downtown" play reading series, Rudd (as Austin) will be joined by Take Me Out's Jonno Roberts (as Lee), Will LeBow (as Saul) and Bobbie Steinbach (as Mom) at The Wang's Shubert Theatre. Steven Maler directs.

The series which "showcases classic American works" also included Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, August Wilson's Fences and David Mamet's American Buffalo. The performances will take place at 7 PM and will be followed by a short question and answer session.

Rudd starred in the London and Off-Broadway run as well as the film version of Neil LaBute's The Shape of Things. He has also appeared in Ancestral Voices (at the Westport County Playhouse), Long Day Journey into Night (London) and the New York and Los Angeles stagings of LaBute’s bash.
