Match Star Guests on "Live! with Regis & Kelly" April 15

Ray Liotta, who is currently making his Broadway debut in Stephen Belber's Match, will guest on the "Live! with Regis & Kelly."
Liotta, who co-stars with Tony Award winners Frank Langella and Jane Adams in the three-person drama, will sit down with hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa on Thursday, April 15. "Live!" airs in the metropolitan area on Channel 7 (WABC-TV) at 9 AM ET; check local listings.
Born in Newark, N.J. in 1955, Ray Liotta's many films include "Something Wild," "Dominick and Eugene," "Field of Dreams," "Goodfellas," "Unlawful Entry," "Unforgettable," "Turbulence," "Cop Land," "Phoenix," "Hannibal," "Heartbreakers," "Blow," "John Q" and "Point of Origin."
In a recent Playbill interview, Liotta spoke about his Main Stem debut. "I'm excited," said the actor, whose last stage role was 25 years ago. "I'm nervous in a good way, just to keep the juices flowing all the time. It's a great challenge to be taking on, and I'm really looking forward to it." About the play, he added, "When I read the piece, it just grabbed me and shook me. The writing is so spectacular. You just don't see writing like this very often, in either theatre or film. . . I have to consider myself a sophisticated reader of plays and movies — and I didn't know what was coming. So, hopefully, neither will the audience."
Match plays the Plymouth Theatre, located in Manhattan at 236 West 45th Street.
