"Theater Talk" Welcomes Frank Langella April 23

Frank Langella

Tony Award winner Frank Langella will guest on the April 23 broadcast of "Theater Talk," the PBS talk show that offers interviews with top theatre celebrities and writers.

Langella will discuss his current role in Match, the new Stephen Belber play at the Plymouth Theatre. The three-person drama, co-starring Ray Liotta and Jane Adams, began previews March 13 and officially opened April 8. Langella plays a Juilliard dance teacher inMatch, which concerns the impact one's choices have on others.

Frank Langella made his Broadway debut in Seascape and has also appeared on Broadway in Passion, Amadeus, The Father, Hurlyburly, Present Laughter and Design for Living. Most recently on Broadway in Fortune's Fool, Langella is the recipient of two Tony Awards, for Fool and Seascape. Also a star of feature film, his movie credits boast "Dracula," "Lolita," "The Ninth Gate," "Small Soldiers," "Dave," "Diary of a Mad Housewife" and "The Twelve Chairs."

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Riedel and producer Haskins, "Theatre Talk" airs late Friday nights at midnight on WNET/Thirteen.
