Maxwell, Bacon Star in New York Theatre Workshop Reading of Burning Deck

Michael Mayer will direct a cast featuring Roberta Maxwell, Isaiah Whitlock, Brooke Sunny Moriber, Jenny Bacon, Kevin Geer, Ellen Barber and Christopher Rivera.
The play was commissioned by the La Jolla Playhouse, and developed in 2003 in the company's "Page-To-Stage" workshop program. Directed by Kristen Brandt, and starring Diane Venora, it played 23 unreviewed public performances.
Mayer has directed Side Man, A View from the Bridge, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Triumph of Love.
