Adam Pascal, who created the role of Radames in the long-running Broadway musical Aida, will return to that Disney show in June.

Beginning June 28 Pascal will again play the role of the ill-fated Egyptian captain who falls for the Nubian princess. Pascal will stay with the Elton John-Tim Rice musical through its recently announced closing night, Sept. 5. Pascal will replace current Radames, Will Chase, who is set to play his final performance at the Palace Theatre June 27. Pascal will join a cast that includes Deborah A. Cox (Aida), Lisa Brescia (Amneris) and Micky Dolenz (Zoser). Cox, Brescia and Dolenz are expected to finish the Aida run as well.

Pascal is also in the midst of recording a new solo album for the Sh-K-Boom Records label. His debut solo disc, "Model Prisoner," is also available on the Sh-K-Boom label.

Adam Pascal recently portrayed the Emcee in the now-closed revival of Cabaret. He made his theatrical debut as Roger in the original cast of Jonathan Larson's Rent; for that performance, he received Theatre World and Obie awards as well as Tony and Drama Desk nominations. The actor-singer then created the role of Radames in Disney's Aida. Pascal was also a co-producer of the hit Off-Broadway play Fully Committed.

Aida features a book by Linda Woolverton, Robert Falls and David Henry Hwang, sets and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting by Natasha Katz, choreography by Wayne Cilento and direction by Robert Falls. The musical plays the Palace Theatre — Broadway and 47th Street — and tickets are available by calling the Disney hotline, (212) 307-4747.
