Charlayne Woodard will star in the world premiere of Nottage's Fabulation or The Re-Education of Undine , which will be seen in the Peter Sharp Theatre at Off-Broadway's Playwrights Horizons, under the direction of Kate Whoriskey. Dates are June 3-27.

Also in the cast are Daniel Breaker, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Stephen Kunken, Robert Montano, Melle Powers, Keith Randolph Smith and Myra Lucretia Taylor.

The play is billed this way: "Fabulation concerns Undine (Charlayne Woodard), a successful publicist who, upon finding herself pregnant and broke, is plunged into a topsy-turvy world of welfare mothers and drug addicts, and forced to confront the family she left behind."

Nottage is newly hot as a writer, due to the acclaim accorded her currently running Off-Broadway work, Intimate Apparel.
