Chita Rivera, the legendary Broadway performer, was honored for her contributions to the theatre once again on May 20, this time the bestowers were the National Dance Institute.

Chita Rivera and Jacques d'Amboise were joined by George S. Irving and many others at the National Dance Institute's "Swingin' at Roseland" Gala, held at 239 West 52nd Street in New York City.

Chita Rivers has performed in such landmark shows as Can-Can, West Side Story, Bye Bye Birdie, Chicago, and the recent revival on Nine.
