Ken Auletta, media writer for The New Yorker, will moderate a panel of journalists and one movie star—Tim Robbins—in a post-show panel to be held after the June 3 performance of Robbins' Embedded at the Public Theater.
Robbins' satirical play about the Iraq war makes much of the fact that journalists were comprised by having their information spoon fed to them and edited by the U.S. military. Fox News' war coverage has been criticized for supporting the Bush administration's party line. Robbins is a well known critic of Bush and his policies.
