The broadcast will also feature a discussion of the recent Tony Awards. Among those discussing the surprise victory of Avenue Q — as Best Musical — will be theatre writers Michael Musto and Patrick Pacheco.
Tonya Pinkins, a recent Tony nominee for her performance in Caroline, or Change, received her Tony Award for her performance in Jelly's Last Jam. Her other Broadway credits include Merrily We Roll Along, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, Play On! (Tony nomination) and The Wild Party. She starred in the City Center Encores! mounting of Harold Arlen's House of Flowers, and she is currently reprising her role as Livia Frye Cudahy on the ABC serial "All My Children."
