The Kennedy Center's salute to the works of Tennessee Williams, "Tennessee Williams Explored," continues with Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, beginning June 12.

Following the Center's acclaimed production of A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat will play the Center's Eisenhower Theatre through July 4. Mary Stuart Masterson, a Tony nominee for her performance in the Broadway revival of Nine, heads the cast as Maggie the Cat opposite the Brick of Jeremy Davidson. Directed by Mark Lamos, the cast also includes Dana Ivey as Big Mama, George Grizzard as Big Daddy, T. Scott Cunningham as Gooper, Brian Reddy as Dr. Baugh and Emily Skinner as Mae.

They will be joined onstage by Aakhu Freeman as Sookey, Jeorge Watson as Lacey, Harry Winter as Reverend Tooker and Caitlin Redding as Dixie. The children include Lexi Haddad, Justin Hancock, Nathan Pratt and Erin Wall. Among the understudies are Erika Sheffer (for Maggie and Mae), Winter (for Big Daddy and Dr. Baugh), Nancy Robinette (for Big Mama), Craig Wallace (for Lacey), Angela Polite (for Sookey) and Emily Pratt (for the children).

"Tennessee Williams Explored" will conclude with The Glass Menagerie, July 17-Aug. 8. Directed by Gregory Mosher, Menagerie will star Sally Field as Amanda Wingfield, Jason Butler Harner as Tom, Corey Brill as the Gentlemen Caller, and Jennifer Dundas as Laura.

Mary Stuart Masterson has appeared on Broadway in Nine and Alice in Wonderland. Her many screen roles include "Lily Dale," "Bed of Roses," "Mad at the Moon," "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Married to It," "Immediate Family," "Chances Are," "Some Kind of Wonderful" and "My Little Girl."

Jeremy Davidson has appeared on Broadway in Epic Proportions and Off-Broadway in the Manhattan Theatre Club's La Terrasse. His regional credits include Nijinsky's Last Dance, Dimetos, Desire Under the Elms, Quills, Wilder ... Wilder and Going Native. Davidson has been seen on screen in "Ally McBeal," "Roswell," "NYPD Blue," "Deprivation" and "Skeletons in the Closet."
