Rice, Groenendaal, the Jellisons and Skip Kennon Perform Voices of Spring Concert June 14 in NYC

Sarah Rice and Cris Groenendaal will reunite for the first time in Manhattan since they played Johanna and Anthony in the original run of Sweeney Todd, for a June 14 concert, Voices of Spring, at Merkin Concert Hall.

The eclectic evening of song celebrating spring and life includes tunes by Stephen Sondheim, William Finn, Jerome Kern, Lucy Simon, Maltby and Shire and — here's the eclectic part — Strauss and Billy Joel.

The performers for the 8 PM concert also include Claudine Cassan-Jellison (Closer Than Ever), John Jellison (Oklahoma!, Putting It Together), with Skip Kennon at the piano.
