Richard Dreyfuss Due Back in Broadway's Sly Fox July 14

Richard Dreyfuss, who was out of Broadway's Sly Fox all last week due to illness, is expected to return to the show July 14.

Sly Fox has been playing at the Barrymore Theatre since March 31.

Dreyfuss heads a cast that includes Rene Auberjonois, Elizabeth Berkley, Prof. Irwin Corey, Bob Dishy, Bronson Pinchot, Eric Stoltz, Nick Wyman and Rachel York.

Arthur Penn directs the Larry Gelbart comedy about greed and lies, inspired by Volpone.

Sly Fox is presented on Broadway by Julian Schlossberg, Roy Furman, Ben Sprecher, Michael Gardner, Jim Fantaci, Cheryl Lachowicz, Christine Duncan and Nelle Nugent by arrangement with Andrew Braunsberg.

The troupe also includes Charles Antalosky, Linda Halaska, Jeremy Hollingworth, Robert LaVelle, Jason Ma, Jeff Talbott and Gordon Joseph Weiss.

Auberjonois, who pays aged moneylender and appraiser Crouch, is the understudy for Dreyfuss.
