John Tartaglia, who received a 2004 Tony nomination for his performance in the Tony-winning musical Avenue Q, will go it solo in September at Joe's Pub.

Tartaglia will play the intimate space Sept. 5 and 6. Directed by Alan Muraoka and choreographed by Jamie Harris, the all-new show will be presented at 7 PM. According to production notes, the concert will run "the gamut from Mellencamp to pure camp. Johnny T will sing some songs, share some secrets, and smash a few idols along the way."

John Tartaglia is currently making his Broadway debut in Avenue Q. He appeared in the Children of Eden benefit concert and in the City Center Encores! presentation of Carnival. His TV credits include eight seasons on "Sesame Street" as well as "Animal Jam," "Bear in the Big Blue House" and "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." Tartaglia was also recently seen in the Empty-Handed concerts at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. Tickets, priced at $25, are available by visiting www.telecharge.com. Those wishing to dine before the show should call (212) 539-8778.
