Recent Sly Fox Star Picks Fave iTunes for Weekly Featured "Celebrity Playlist"

Eric Stoltz — a recent Broadway star in the revival of the Larry Gelbart comedy Sly Fox — is among the "Celebrity Playlists" featured for this week on Apple's iTunes.

Stoltz, who played servant Simon Able to Richard Dreyfuss' miser Foxwell J. Sly, is known for his role in such films as "Pulp Fiction," "Kicking and Screaming," "Mask," "Little Women," "Say Anything," and "The House of Mirth." The actor has previously appeared on the Broadway stage in Our Town, Two Shakespearean Actors and Three Sisters as well as an Off-Broadway turn in The Importance of Being Earnest.

On the stage and screen star's selected playlist are, as he puts it, "a mix of wildly popular songs" and "newer songs from up-and-coming artists." The 19 selections include David Bowie's "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide," The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again," Rufus and Chaka Khan's "Tell Me Something Good," and Elvis Presley's "In the Ghetto" among other downloadable goodies by Talking Heads, Steely Dan, Burt Bacharach, Pearl Jam, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Joan Osborne and more.

Previous "Celebrity Playlists" have included choices by such stage-related stars as Edward Norton (Burn This), Rod from Avenue Q (whose list includes hits from Mandy Patinkin, Barry Manilow, Queen, Elaine Stritch, Judy Garland, Pal Joey, Liberace, The Boy From Oz and his own "My Girlfriend, Who Lives in Canada"), Harmony composer Barry Manilow and Kevin Bacon (An Almost Holy Picture).

The Broadway cast recordings of this year's big musicals Wicked and Avenue Q are currently among the top ten albums in the soundtrack genre.
