Rachel York and Barrett Foa Part of Free Discovered Treasures 2 Concert

Rachel York and Barrett Foa

An evening of new and classic theatre and cabaret tunes will be presented Sept. 28 during Discovered Treasures 2.

Produced, directed and hosted by John F. Znidarsic, the 6 PM evening at the Donnell Library Theatre will feature works written by David Arthur, Ryan Cunningham, Patrick Dwyer, Albert Evans, Enid Futterman, Sean Hartley, Alison Hubbard, Ron Kaehler, Jihwan Kim, Jon Marans, Howard Marren, James Merillat, Ben Moore, Robert Lindsey Nassif, Kim Oler, Dick Pasqual, Michael Roberts, Joshua Salzman, Edward Thomas, Richard Pearson Thomas, Jim Walton, Jack Eric Williams and Rachel York.

Part of the New York Music Theater Festival, the free concert will boast performances by Avenue Q's Barrett Foa and recent Sly Fox star Rachel York as well as Marie-France Arcilla, Bertilla Baker, Sandy Binion, Fred Berman, Richard Danley,Valerie Fagan, Jennifer Goode, Jack Herholdt, Lynelle Johnson, Maree Johnson, Logan Lipton, Michael McCoy, Regina O'Malley, Michael Roberts and theatre veteran Jim Walton.

Rachel York was most recently on Broadway in the revival of Sly Fox at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. A Drama Desk Award-winning actress, York's additional stage credits include Kiss Me, Kate; City of Angels; Les Misérables; The Scarlet Pimpernel; and Victor/Victoria. The actress also appeared as Reno Sweeney in the Reprise! staging of Anything Goes, and she portrayed television legend Lucille Ball in the CBS movie "Lucy."

Barrett Foa is currently part of the ensemble of the Tony-winning musical Avenue Q. He made his Broadway debut in Mamma Mia! and was part of last season's all-star Children of Eden benefit concert. Foa's other theatrical credits include Godspell and Just So and he also understudies the roles of Princeton and Rod in Avenue Q.
