Bell has appeared on Broadway in the recent revival of The Crucible opposite Liam Neeson and Laura Linney as well as the short-lived musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer as Becky Thatcher. The NYU Tisch graduate has also appeared in the films "Pootie Tang," "A Polish Wedding" and the upcoming TV movie version of "Reefer Madness" — reprising the role she played Off-Broadway. Other credits include "Spartan," "Everwood," "Deadwood" and "American Dreams."
In "Veronica Mars," Bell plays the title role of daughter to a former sheriff-turned-private investigator who helps her father out by night while dealing with the normal high school life of a 17-year-old girl by day.
"Just Shoot Me" star Enrico Colantoni (The Arabian Nights, The Merry Wives of Windsor) co-stars as Mars' father with a cast that includes Percy Daggs III, Teddy Dunn, Jason Dohring and Francis Capra.
