Songs From Lloyd Webber's Woman in White Available On-Line

Those who can't wait for the release of the forthcoming Woman in White original cast recording, can preview the score to Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical on-line.

The official Woman in White website is now offering audio clips from five of the show's songs. Visitors to www.womaninwhitethemusical.com can hear portions of "I Believe in My Heart," featuring Jill Paice and Martin Crewes; "All for Laura," sung by Maria Friedman; "Evermore Without You," performed by Crewes; "If Not for Me For Her," with Friedman; and "You Can't Get Away with Anything," sung by Michael Crawford.

The Woman in White — starring Michael Crawford and Maria Friedman — began previews Aug. 28 at London's Palace Theatre. Adapted from Wilkie Collins' novel, the musical by Lloyd Webber and David Zippel officially opened Sept. 15. Trevor Nunn directs.

"I Believe My Heart," the lead song from The Woman in White, was released as a single in the U.K Oct. 11. Blue's Duncan James and EMI Classics recording artist Keedie are heard on the single, which was released by EMI Records.
