Additional casting has been announced for the MCC Theater production of Fat Pig, which begins previews Nov. 23 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Joining the previously announced Jeremy Piven — of "Entourage" and "Ellen" fame — will be Keri Russell, Andrew McCarthy and Ashlie Atkinson. A spokesperson for the theatre company confirmed the casting of the Neil LaBute play, which will be directed by Jo Bonney. Opening night is Dec. 15, and the play will run through Jan. 15, 2005.

Fat Pig concerns a man (Piven) who falls in love with an overweight woman (Atkinson) but begins to rethink his feelings when others (McCarthy and Russell) ridicule her.

Fat Pig will mark the stage debut for Russell, who is best known for her work as Felicity Porter on the TV series "Felicity." Atkinson is another stage newcomer, who has appeared on "Law & Order" and currently has a recurring role on "Rescue Me." Film star Andrew McCarthy was seen on Broadway in The Boys of Winter and Side Man.
