Avenue Q's Tartaglia to Offer Joe's Pub Concert in 2005

John Tartaglia, the Tony-nominated star of Avenue Q, will return to Joe's Pub in 2005.
On January 3, the award-winning actor will reprise his "AD-LIBerty" evening, which he debuted in September at the Public Theater. With songs from the worlds of pop and theatre, "AD-LIBerty" features direction by Alan Muraoka and choreography by Jamie Harris. Show times are 7 and 9:30 PM.
It's a busy time for Tartaglia, who will also presentJohnny T's Christmas Spectacular Dec. 20 at the famed jazz club Birdland.
John Tartaglia is currently making his Broadway debut in Avenue Q. He received a Tony nomination, a Theatre World Award and the Clarence Derwent Award for that performance. The young actor also appeared in the Children of Eden and Hair benefit concerts and in the City Center Encores! presentation of Carnival. His TV credits include eight seasons on "Sesame Street" as well as "Animal Jam," "Bear in the Big Blue House," "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." Tartaglia was recently seen in the Empty-Handed concerts at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and has performed solo evenings at the Ars Nova and Joe's Pub.
Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street. Tickets, priced at $25, are available by calling (212) 239-6200.
