"Broadway's Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure Volume 6" is set to hit record stores Nov. 16 and can also be purchased by visiting the Broadway Cares website at The 23-track recording features new and traditional holiday carols as well as the premiere of "Hello, Christmas," written especially for the recording by recent Hairspray star Michael McKean and his wife, Annette O'Toole.

Among the shows taking part in this year's "Carols" recording are 42nd Street, Bombay Dreams, Wicked, Dracula, Golda's Balcony, Chicago, The Lion King, Aida, Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, The Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Movin' Out, Avenue Q, Mamma Mia!, The Foreigner, Beauty and the Beast, The Producers, Wonderful Town, The Boy From Oz and Fiddler on the Roof. "Carols" is the eighth fund-raising CD produced by Lynn Pinto to benefit BC/EFA. In a statement Pinto said, "I've been active in the theatre community for most of my life, and knew for many years I wanted to do something, on a personal level, to help in the fight against the disease. And the immediate response from the Broadway community was overwhelming. Having many friends who have been assisted over the years by the wonderful work of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, I knew it was the right thing to do."
