Woes of Beauty Work Pieces Returns to New York at Dodger Stages, Dec. 8

The stageshow, Pieces (of Ass), which played two runs in New York City with special guest stars like "The Sopranos" star Jamie-Lynn DiScala and "Survivor" turned-Playboy covergirl Jenna Morasca, return to New York at Dodger Stages, Dec. 8.
The work, which previously played at the China Club and Theatre 80, is slated to open at the new venue Dec. 10. New Scenario Entertainment produces.
Conceived and directed by Brian Howie, Pieces (of Ass) features original monologues which center on the topic of being an attractive woman. The work delves into "the perks and the privileges to the problems and the pressures," as described in a release. The evening usually is presented with a number of actresses and one special guest celebrity.
The cast members include Diahnna Nicole Baxter, Danielle Ciardi, Christie D'Amore, Sara Rae Gore, Rachel Hollon, Danielle James, Tami Mansfield, Cassie Pappas, Rachel Robbins, Lenise Soren, Katie Walter and Lindsay Zir.
Brooke Burke ("Wild On E!"), Trishelle Cannatella (MTV's "Real World"), Kirsten Buschbacher (ABC's "The Bachelor"), Carol Grow (FHM's "100 Most Beautiful Women"), Lori Heuring ("Mulholland Drive,” "The In-Crowd"), DiScala and Morasca have previously been among the "center-pieces".
The popular production has since spawned Los Angeles and Las Vegas runs. The work returned to Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Cafe, Nov. 7.
