"Taylor, the Latte Boy" Creators Sing at MAC/ASCAP Songwriters' Showcase; Ross Is Special Guest

Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, the composing duo who penned the cabaret staple "Taylor, the Latte Boy" — the song has been performed by such theatre favorites as Kristin Chenoweth, John Tartaglia and Susan Egan — will perform a new song titled "Best Friends" at the annual MAC/ASCAP Songwriters' Showcase.

Produced by Michael A. Kerker and Jamie deRoy, the Dec. 21 evening devoted to some of today's best songwriters will be held at The Lighthouse on East 59th Street. DeRoy will host the one-night-only event, which boasts pianist singer Steve Ross as a special guest. Show time is 6 PM.
