Democracy, the play by Michael Frayn currently on Broadway, will be featured on the March 11 episode of "20/20."

The segment is not about the Cold War drama, however, but about cell phone usage. Democracy uses one of the more clever deterrents to the ongoing problem of cell phone abuse in theatres. Instead of airing a message asking theatregoers to switch off their phones, as many shows do, it unleashes a "cell phone symphony," in which one, then another, then a cacophony of rings go off in the auditorium. Thus, the patrons are reminded to turn off without a word being spoken.
"20/20" airs in New York City on WABC-TV, Channel 7 at 10:00 PM (ET). Check local listings.
